Smitty loved rodeo, hunting, camping and fishing. He loved his family unconditionally and was always ready to offer advice even if we didn't want to hear it; but it turned out he would be right. Allan worked for Schlosser and Fancy Ranching until moving to work at the A7 Blacktail Ranch west of Stavely. He loved the cowboy way of life. After leaving the A7 he worked for George White fencing before starting his own fencing business until he retired.
Allan will always be remembered for his love, kindness and knowledge. He will be forever missed and always in our hearts.
At Smitty's request no service will be held. A private family gathering will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Stavely Rodeo or Stavely and District Agriculture Society.Messages:
