Messages:

My heartfelt condolences to you Marilyn, Kyle, Cameron and Trevor on cousin Rod's passing. Such a vibrant life taken from us far too soon. I have such fond memories of babysitting him as a youngster. What a wonderful young man he turned out to be. Rest in peace, Rod.

Dear Marilyn (Manny)and family. Jim and I were sorry to hear about Rod’s passing. Although we didn’t know him, you loved him and the emptiness you are feeling must be overwhelming. We offer our deepest and sincerest condolences. Karen (Stewart) Nichol & Jim Nichol.

Marilyn my heart goes out to you not only for Rod's passing but also for his and your journey with the devastating disease of PSP. Rod clearly had a zest for life which gets robbed bit by bit. May you be comforted by happy memories and the love and support of family and friends. Kindest Regards, Laurel-Anne Millis

To the entire Family (including Ted Clouthier) Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. I have many fond memories of Rod during my time as a member of the Petroleum Club. I was particularly saddened to hear of his illness a few years ago - particularly given Rod's zest for life and his personal health and fitness. He will be missed and remembered. Lori Ann Edwards Lately of Nova Scotia

I am so sorry to hear of Rod’s passing. My first memory is that he cut up a fresh fruit bowl for you every morning. That’s a special person. My deepest sympathy.

Rod's passing was a great loss to Marilyn and family and and all their many friends. Rod's sense of humour and energy were infectious. He was so much fun to be with. He had so many talents and was an inspiration. Always with a smile. His illness was a shock and we will all miss him.

Roddy had a very special gift. Every time we frequented the CPC he made us feel like we were his personal guests and always with that big smile! Thank you Roddy.

Our heartfelt condolences to you Marilyn on the loss of your dearest Rod. He was a wonderful man, devoted to his family and a terrific professional. He will be missed by all who knew him. Sincerely, Bonnie and Barry

So sorry to read of Rod's passing. We reflect on our nearly forty year membership at the Pete Club with fond memories of the "three amigos". - Jim Sherlock, Rod Thomas and Ted Clouthier. The Club will never be the same without them. Like many other long term members, when Rod left, then Ted left - we left ! Kathy and I send out deepest sympathies to the family and to our dear friend Ted Clouthier a true and caring friend to the end.

Marilyn, it is with with sadness that I hear about the passing of Rod. Only very fond and happy memories come to mind when I think of him. My sincere condolences to you and your family.

My condolences to Rod's family. I only knew Rod as a professional through and through. He worked so well with CPC members and clients using humour and efficiency to provide services and hospitality second to none. Along with his family, the community at large will miss him.

Marilyn, Kyle, Cameron and Trevor. Never had the opportunity to meet yourself or the boys, but had a few good laughs with 'Chipper' and Jim at the EMHS back in 2010 as well as few additional laughs with Rod at Trevor's just after his retirement. Unfortunate circumstances but taking it all in stride to make the most of what he had, much like coming out of our huddles like in 'The Longest Yard' and sticking it to the opposition with that much present S--- eaters grin. Ah Chipper, rest in peace, you will be missed. God bless,

To the dear Thomas family, we are very sorry to hear this news. We have many many happy memories of the 33rd Street Thomas family. Dean, Heather and the Beselt family.

Marilyn, so sorry to learn about the loss of the King of Kensington! There are so many memories of us growing up in the Rockies between the Shell station in Lake Louise, fishing at Emerald Lake on opening day and Bumpers Beef House in Banff. Sending huge hugs and love, Marvin
