Messages:

So sorry to learn of Marlene’s passing. We knew each other years ago in Brandon. She was always a kind , generous person.

Dear Shane and Todd, Myra and I were so sorry to hear of your Mom's passing. Please accept our Sincere Condolences. We were looking forward to starting cards again once this COVID-19 pandemic ended, also we were about to take a trip to the big city of High River, which for some reason or other she always wanted to go to. Once again Our Sincere Condolences. Walter.

With thoughts to all of Marlene's Family. I knew Marlene from The Vulcan Food Bank and generally in the community. Marlene always had a kind word and hi to everyone she knew, although she would tell you like it was Lol. But she had a heart of gold and a great smile. She will be missed. May the memories and love of Marlene be in your hearts forever. With Deepest Sympathies, Tammy Wallace.

I am so sad to hear of Marlene’s death. I was one of her bus drivers here in Okotoks, and only met her in Dec. 2019. She was always an absolute joy to pick up. We exchanged many smiles, stories and laughter. Marlene was always happy, although sometimes she would have a scowl on her face, glaring my way and then she would break into a huge smile and laugh. Although I did not know her for very long I always looked forward to seeing her and having a short visit. She was a fine woman.

You boys were her pride and joy....she was a dear friend to me. Always will remember her laughter. She always had a new story to tell me...I never laughed so much. She always made me feel special. Just so you both know.... you guys were not the only ones that were given lists.....I will miss her. Bless you both today and always.

Sorry to hear of your families loss. I have fond memories of your mom. Going to your house, to enjoy the crafts your mom had planned out. She always had a smile and a kind heart.

So sorry to hear of Marlene passing may she be at peace

Shane and Todd, I'm so sorry to hear of your mom's passing. She was always so kind, and I was lucky to have had a quick visit with her the last time she was in Brandon. I'll always remember how often she smiled :) Take care...

Shane and Todd. So very sorry for your loss. We shared a lot of laughs, lots of time at our cabins and always had such good visits when Marlene came back to Brandon for visits. She was always thankful for, and proud of her sons and loved them equally. Keep all your memories close to your heart, God bless. Esther
