Rev. Elmer Vance (Buddy) Myers B.A., B.Ed, M.Div

On the evening of Wednesday, October 7, 2020, Buddy peacefully went to meet our Lord and Saviour surrounded by family at Claresholm General Hospital.

Buddy is lovingly remembered by his 4 children, Kerry (Lou), Rod (Lorrie), Curtis and Andrea (Chris McMurter); his 10 grandchildren, Ben (Mel), Corey, Jeff, Brady (Krista), Erik, Sonja Ross (Cody), Dana, Joey Kalnay, Alex Kalnay and Molly McMurter; and 6 great grandchildren, Max, Frankie, Hayden, Lia, Summer and Kayden.

He had a dynamic personality that touched many lives by pastoring and teaching. He was involved in education for 49 years and taught students from kindergarten to university in Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta, and British Columbia.

Buddy was called to serve as a missionary in Rhodesia, South Africa, Kenya and Lesotho. He loved to share the message of the Lord with all he met.  He loved music and played several instruments including the piano, organ and accordian. He also loved painting, writing and playing board games.
