Larry was such a special man, a wonderful husband, father and papa! My daughter and I had the privilege of Larry and Fern coming into our lives 22 years ago. That is when I met Chris and T ❤️ And then Jalan. Larry was always so fun to be around, always the jokester and I loved watching him and Fern love each other...they did that so well as a couple ❤️. Larry was papa to my daughter for many years, we did fall out of contact for some but as soon as we reconnected they were papa and nana again ❤️ Larry will be so missed here on earth but I bet he is spoiling Tiny and going some golfing up beyond those shiny gates ❤️❤️❤️ Love to you Fern, Chris, Jason, Tianna and Jalan ❤️

Christine, Tianna and Jalan, Fern and Jason, I am so sorry to hear of Larry’s passing. I have fond memories of Larry from when you lived on Fairmont and he always had some smart ass comment when us girls were going out. Always the comedian!! You can take some solace in the fact Larry knows he was loved immeasurably by all of you. Sending all of my love and prayers.
Larry and Fern were always so interesting and engaging to visit with. In our (Shannon and Tim) meetups with them we always were fascinated by their stories and their exploits. I didn't realize Larry went to Moose Jaw for his apprentice training. I was a technical instructor there for 20 years. I would have loved to talk to Larry about his time at the school and in that little town. Life passes too quickly!
The times I remember were the trips to Eston, Saskatchewan . The gopher races at the ball diamonds. How the parents left us kids at home at went to the movies. It was lots of fun, he’ll be missed especially that sense of humour. Love you auntie Fern
Uncle Larry will always be the cool uncle. His smile and laugh is something I'll remember for the rest of my life. He always made a point of being the funniest in the room and making everyone laugh with his jokes. I remember the wink he'd make after the terrible jokes just to reassure me it was only a joke hahah. He's a wonderful man.
Larry had a way of always making you feel like you were part of the family, even on a first meeting. Especially all the jokes. I think tiny is taking good care of him. Love and hugs to the family.
Brian and I have some great memories with Larry and Fern from when they were our next door neighbors in Holiday Park Resort for many years. Our happy hours together are unforgettable, they were excellent neighbors and great friends. Larry will be sadly missed, condolence to Fern and all the family.
It's with tears and smiles that I learned of Larry's passing. Or, as I lovingly called him years ago in Saskatoon, "Pops". I knew Jason, then Chris, then Mom and Pops. They welcomed me with open arms into their hearts and home. He was a truly special man, and I'm grateful for my fond memories. My thoughts and prayers are with his entire family, most especially Fern. Always missed, never forgotten.
