Eldon Chester Trca

Eldon passed away peacefully on Friday, May 22, 2020 at the age of 92.  He is remembered with love by his wife of 65 years Vera Carson Trca; daughters, Debra and Beverly; his grandson, Alex Kitchen; aunt, Lois Guitard; friends and a large extended family.  He was predeceased by his parents, Chester Trca and Edna Trca (nee Harbison); and sister, Phylis Wilson. 

Eldon was born in Wetaskiwin, Alberta in 1927.  He graduated from Western Canada High School in Calgary and Olds School of Agriculture.

Eldon and Vera married in 1955 and moved to Vancouver where he worked for CP Air until his retirement in 1986. Eldon was like a magnet attracting people of all ages and backgrounds with his humour and zest for life. He loved fishing, hunting, travelling, RV’ing, dancing and golfing with his forever friends and family. His family was always his top priority.  

There are angels who walk on Earth and many of them work at the Olds Hospital. The Trca family would like to thank Dr. Hoeve, the nurses and care staff in Acute Care and Long Term Care.
