Galbraith, Robert James
January 4, 1964 - December 7, 2021
Banff, Alberta - Calgary, Alberta
It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Robert (“Rob”) James Galbraith on Tuesday, December 7, 2021 at the age of 57 years old.
He will be lovingly remembered by his childhood sweetheart and wife of 36 years, Vicky Galbraith; sons, James (Marnie) Galbraith and Travis (Chantal) Galbraith; grandchildren, Cash and Kinsley Galbraith; sister, Kathleen Galbraith (Jim Jellison); brother, Dean Galbraith; brother-in-law, Kurt (Laura) Mayer; in-laws, Ken (Inge) Kluk and Marg Klassen; and abundant cousins, relatives, nieces, nephews and friends. He will be remembered best for opening his heart, and his garage, to his countless friends and those who came to consider him as another father figure. Rob is pre-deceased by his mother, Judy, and father, Bob.
Rob was a jack-of-all-trades who loved riding his Harley, watching Nascar races, and hanging out around the campfire with all of his friends and family. His passion for all things motors, outdoors and mechanics has passed down to his sons, who will carry on his legacy for a love of life and family.
The family shares their gratitude and thanks with the doctors, nurses and support team for all of their efforts at the South Calgary Health Campus.
At Robs request, no Traditional Funeral Service will be held. A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
In the interim, the family asks that you raise a glass in the honor of an irreplaceable man and cherish the many memories you have been able to create with Rob.

Rob was a warm, kind, friendly, and very helpful man. He loved his family more than anything. He was always positive and caring. Rob and Vicky were both very supportive when my soul mate Dan also passed from cancer. Rob I know you are at peace now. You will be missed by everyone that knew you. God bless you.
