It is with profound sorrow and grief that we announce the sudden passing of our beautiful daughter, wife, sister, and mother Natalie Malnar Medved. Perhaps her work was done here but those left behind disagree.
She was an amazing woman, full of light and life, compassion for those who needed it and a strength that few obtain. We were blessed to learn many lessons from her in finding peace and joy in our own lives. She lead always by example.
Natalie is survived by her loving husband, Drazen Medved; her precious little boy, Domagoj; mom and dad; sister, Tanja (Brendan); nephew, Maddoc; as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins.
A Memorial Mass will be held in her honor at Our Lady of Marija Bistrica Croatian Catholic Parish, 14675 Deer Ridge Drive SE, Calgary, Alberta on Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at 11:00 AM.
Those wishing to make a donation in lieu of flowers can do so by donating to a fund which will be established for Natalie's son, Domagoj.

I had the privilege of working with Natalia at Pembina. She always had a positive can do attitude. Her smile was infectious, and no problem was unsolvable, according to her. She brought so much joy and laughter to our team, and to me personally - which will be greatly missed. She always spoke highly of her son, her niece and her husband - it was evident how much she loved you all. She will be deeply missed. My sincere condolences to your family.

I have so many fond memories of Natalie from my childhood. Together with her sister and mine we had so much fun together. She was always so full of life and gratitude, it was infectious. Though we lost touch as we got older I ran into her a few times as an adult and she was the same happy and inspirational person that I remembered. I saw her life unfold and she seemed so happy being married and as a mother. I'm deeply saddened by this news and I wish I could take the heartache away from all those who loved her. My thoughts and prayers go out to her family.

I had the privilege of working with Natalia at Pembina - she always brought light into a room, a positive get it done attitude, and a guaranteed laugh! You couldn't be in a meeting or working without Natalia without a smile. She spoke very highly of her family and it was clear how important you were to her. My sincerest condolences. I have wonderful memories of Natalie from our early days at high school and the Croatian church. She was a lady that could light up any room. She was brilliant, loving, and had a wonderful sense of humor. My prayers are with all of you.

It is with tremendous sadness and sorrow that I read about the passing of Natalie. I remember her as a little girl and she always had that big smile which made me feel she had big dreams. As I read about her life it sounds like she accomplished everything in the short time that she was with us. She had a big heart and it is with a heavy heart that she is gone to soon. Our condolences to your family and loved ones and especially Drazen and Domagoj. Another angel to watch over us but gone way too soon.

I grew up with Natalie, all the way from jr. high My heart hurts to hear this news, she was such a wonderful, caring person and she will be missed not only by her family, but by everyone she touched. Her beautiful soul will live in all of us. Though she's no longer with us in person, she will always be with us. Forever loved, forever missed
