Messages:

Roy was a great friend and fellow car enthusiast. We shared many great adventures over the years. After Roy had won the Baby Grand Championship, we did a victory lap around the speedway in the Limo, a memory I will always cherish. Roy was a stand up guy, and I always looked forward to his visits. Hugs to Christine and Maryanne. He will be missed.

My deepest condolences to both of you and all of Roy’s family. Roy was kind, caring and compassionate man. He was a bright light on this earth. He will be missed. Much love Marianne and Christine. ❤️ Rest In Peace Roy. ❤️

We are so sorry to hear of Roy's passing. He was such a vibrant and caring person who was always there to help out a friend and neighbour. He will be missed for sure.

There are no words in times like these. Sending you both all the love and support that words can’t say. Cherish the memories.

Dear Marianne and Christine Such sad news to hear i am deeply sorry for your loss Hugs i hope i hear about the Celebration of Life

Sad ... I was his grade school teacher from 1963 to 1966 ... he was such a fine young feller to work with. Certainly from our point of view, He has gone too soon. Sincere sympathy ... Bob

Thinking of you & sending you my heartfelt condolences at this difficult time. Hugs to the both of you.

May not have known you for a long time but you will always be remembered. Rest in Peace.

What a great picture of my uncle Roy. Like everyone else I will miss him very much. I was always proud of him. He did things his way. Someone that worked hard, and played hard. That smile had an effect on people in a way that I have rarely seen. One of my favourite memories: he was being bombarded by a couple kids (I don’t remember the occasion). The more he tried to be gruff, the more kids he actually attracted to him. The ‘big / bad uncle Roy’ I remember… was always real, kind, honest, and he had an infectious attitude that naturally attracted people.

Sending our deepest and heartfelt condolences to the family. May you find comfort in the love of friends and family and never forget the cherished memories.

There are no words that one can say when one loses a Dad/Husband. The pain is deep but know that friends are thinking of you both.

Rest In Peace my friend
