Brent Allan Wilson
July 6, 1967 - January 6, 2021
It is with the heaviest of hearts that we have to say good-bye to our beloved son, brother, uncle, dad, cousin and remarkable friend. Brent passed away Wednesday, January 6, 2021 at the age of 53 from heart failure. He is lovingly remembered for his work with the AUPE as the former Chapter Chair at Emcon. Most recently Brent worked maintaining the provinces primary highways with his coworkers to ensure Alberta drivers got home safely. Brent was an engaged and dedicated member of the Drumheller community who was deeply committed to the health and safety of his coworkers. He will be fondly remembered for his love of animals (especially cats), love of travel, love of camping, love of fast cars and big trucks. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. He is lovingly remembered by his parents, Annette and Don Wilson; children, Cody and Megan Wilson; sisters, Lisa (Paul) van Oosten, Anita (Tom) van der voort; his nieces, Kristen, Dawn, Melanie, and Ashley; nephew, Shaun; aunts, uncles and cousins. A celebration of Life will be announced at a later date when hopefully we can all gather together. In lieu of flowers please show your support to Drumheller SPCA. https://www.drumhellerhumane.com/index.php/donate-now

Deepest condolences to his family and friends. He was an active member in the Midlandvale Community and was always there to lend a helping hand. Another angel got his wings.

brent and i are facebook friends. i didn’t know until just now that he passed. i love the way he thinks. i love how he gets such a kick out of his kitties. he is the kind of man who appreciates a roaring fire and a good cup of cocoa, maybe with a little kalua or something tipped in there once in a while. he even has great taste in movies and ways to relax and enjoy this crazy world. i can only be happy that he seized many opportunities to enjoy some of the fun things that are way too easy to put off until “some day”. i just wish he was still able to enjoy it all a little bit longer. i am profoundly inspired by brent. he is one of the nicest buddies you’ll ever find. my condolences to brent’s family and to his local friends.
