Messages:
Joelle and Scott I am so sorry for the loss of your wonderful mother. I don’t know if Diane told how we met but it was a really hard day in my life and her kindness made a world of difference. She drove my kid and I to say goodbye to a beloved cat. Diane was so easy to talk and be with. Our friendship just grew from that day. Time with her and Bill was full of laughter and stories. On the front deck or in the family room. Even now while I write this on the stairs across the street from their old house I can still see it so clearly. Thank you Diane for your kindness and time. Hug Bill for Ty and I.
I recall her glamour and love for music. Her laughter at my mother's bridge parties and dance moves at other occasions. I will always remember her as the life of every party on Willowgate Drive. My early life and adventures were always tied around Joelle (my BFF) and her loving family. My condolences to all her friends and family. May her memory live on though sharing her light and stories. Love Lesley (Davies) Visconti, Guy, Lucas and Melina XOXO
Our deepest condolences to the family. Always enjoyed her e-cards, emails and telephone calls. We will miss her.
For Joelle, Scott, Jim and Debbie and families Please accept my deepest sympathy on the sad loss of Diane. She was a very special friend for many, many years...
Diane and I were cousins who had a lot if catching up to - and that we did thankfully. We had not seen nor spoken to one another in 62 years. Through looking for Jimmy following the tornadoes that ripped through the Ottawa Valley a few years ago, we connected because of mutual concern for him. Since then we spoke at least weekly and helped each other through some tough times. I wish we could have gotten together in person but such was not possible. The conversations we had will be treasured. Love to Joelle, Scott and all the family. She will most certainly be missed by all that she touched in so many ways
Diane as well as Bill were wonderful neighbors for almost 5 years here in Airdrie. We had several conversations over the fence, trying to solve the world's problems, only laughing how we were never going to be able to do so. Scott and Joelle, as well as Quinn and Mae, my thoughts are with you as you grieve the liss of your mother. Your support and care of her these past months of your mother has been admirable. I am grateful to have met all of you. Rest easy Diane and Bill, you are missed.
Very sad to learn of Diane's passing. We spoke with her a short while ago, just after she had moved into her new apartment and she seemed to find it convenient considering her health challenges. From Dale's being Best Man for Dave at her first wedding, regardless of where she or we lived over the years, we always were able to maintain contact and we always looked forward to receiving our first Christmas card each year, naturally it was Diane's and contained a comprehensive update of her family's travels and events. We will miss her. Our condolences to Scott, Joelle, Debbie and families. Blanka & Dale Reicker Orleans, ON

Rest in Peace my dear and so thankful you are reunited with your dearly beloved Bill. Prayers and hugs to Jimmy, Debby, Joelle, Scott, and your families. God Bless all of you
I wish to send my sincere condolences . I really, genuinely enjoyed Diane ‘s company. She had such a keen mind and such a great sense of humour. We always had great and lively conversations. I was lucky to have her and Bill as friends . I will miss both of them. Above all else, Diane loved her children and grandchildren. My thoughts are with you all at this difficult time of loss.
Scott and Joelle My thoughts are with your. I have many memories of Auntie Di. I saw her and Bill and few years ago at my moms during one of there adventures to Carleton Place. She spoke with pride and joy of you and the grand kids. Cherish the memories and embrace each other. Susan
Diane has been one of my most treasured friends since your family first moved to Calgary and we met at church. Your mom got right to work establishing an ACW and boy did we have fun working together. Your mom instantly became DiDi to toddler Jennifer, and then to Jill and David. One of the very best things I ever did was ask her to be Jill's Godmother. They both cherished that relationship and when Bill wed your mom, Jill fell in love with him too (actually, we all did ❤️). We were so glad when they moved back west and we could visit more regularly! Your mom and I always had lots to talk about and enjoyed long, wide-ranging conversations that always included lots of laughter, and the latest updates on our kids and grandkids. She adored Quinn and Mae as only a grandmother can, and I hope that they feel her love in their souls forever. Scott and Joelle, she loved you both to the moon and back as mothers do, and was so proud of your accomplishments. I miss her deeply.
