Messages:
I met Cheryl when I first moved to Medicine Hat, Ab in 2005 with my husband and baby daughter. I needed help in getting my daughter to children's hospital for her cleft pallet surgery pre-op appointments when my hubby was out working and she offered to drive us. She made me feel welcome and part of her inner circle right away. I am so sorry on her passing and know she is aglow in God's Amazing Grace. I can imagine her singing with the angels choir as she was someone I remembered from worship service at church and her love for singing and dancing. May she rest in peace.
I am saddened to hear this, but glad she can breathe in Heaven's pure air. Thanks for being my friend. I am also glad she could see Bonnie and all her family at Christmas.
I called Cheryl “Princess” for many years because we had a convo about her being a child of a King (Jesus) and I assured her that she was therefore a Princess. I have asked her if she didn’t like me calling her that and she confirmed that it made her feel special. So that was that! I dearly love that lady and talked with her on the phone not too long ago. We laughed because it was really a “pocket dial” and we both commented that it was meant to be. Cheryl tried so hard to be upbeat and matter-of-fact about her condition. I will miss her. My prayers and condolences go out to the entire family. She is now a Princess walking in heaven with the King of Kings!
I will never forget how you welcomed me into your family and made me feel loved the whole time I knew you. Thank you for being such a warm person and loving to all who knew you. You were an amazing Mother, Grandmother, Aunty, Sister and Friend. I will never forget you.
I was fortunate to meet you. When I was dating your sister Laura, you treated me like part of the family. Thank you.
Cheryl was such a wonderful lady to me and my family. Almost 30 years ago now she cared for my young special needs son and his sister. She did this with such warmth and caring. She came to our needs when we went through a large home renovation, where she cared for my young family as a live in caregiver for 4 days of the week over 2-3 months, having her own daughter, Bonnie, stay with Grandma. She was so good with my kids and so good with our special needs son. I will always appreciate the sacrifice she made to help us. Such a wonderful lady she was. I was so saddened to hear of her passing. So glad we had a warm catch up visit not too long ago. Bonnie, she talked so much about those wonderful grandchildren of hers with such deep affection. Your mother was a wonderful lady.
