Melvin John Doiron, of Airdrie, Alberta, passed away peacefully at the age of 90 at the Didsbury Hospital on Thursday, May 12, 2022.
Melvin was the beloved husband of Anita (nee Gallant) Doiron and son of the late John Thomas & Rose Mae (Peters) Doiron. He was the loving father of Wayne (Lorna) Doiron, Carl Doiron (Melody), Kathleen (Jeff) Vitale, Allan Glenn (Shannon), and John Doiron (Kim).
Melvin is lovingly remembered by his brothes-in-law, John Clarkin and Sonny Gauthier; sisters-in-law, Ella Mae Doiron and Kathy Doiron; his grandchildren, Ron, Korey, Jordan, Michael, Tyler, Shanelle and Riley; great-grandchildren, Sydnee, Kaenna, Rylin, Siena, Maverick and Arlo.
He was predeceased by his parents, John & Rose; brothers, Lawrence (Marie), Ivan, Dennis and Victor; his sisters, Marie Gallant (Arthur), Rita (in infancy), Louise Clarkin and Vivian Gauthier; his two sons, Wayne Joseph and Carl Raymond.
A Memorial Service will be held at St. Paul’s Catholic Church located at 1305 Main Street S, Airdrie, Alberta on Wednesday, May 18, 2022 at 1:00PM.
