Errol was an avid reader and loved travelling especially to Mexico and kicking ass at crib and card games. He was a softspoken, peaceful man who adored his family and friends. He had a very welcoming personality and was kind to everyone he met.
Errol was a drywaller when he met Charlie through mutual friends. He then worked for Yellow Cab for almost 9 years as a driver and dispatcher, one of his favourite jobs. Errol and Charlie then moved to Carstairs, and Errol worked for Ron Lindbladt as a butcher. He then went on to construction for a year in Carstairs and then worked for UFA for a couple years. After that, Errol worked for the Town of Carstairs for 22 years until his retirement.
Charlie and family would like to thank the Foothills Units 36 and 46 for their wonderful care during Errol’s stay there in the last month. Errol’s passing was as peaceful as his life was. Thank you to all the friends for the thoughts and prayers during this time.
Errol’s Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, June 17, 2022 at 11:30 am at the Carstairs Curling Rink. Everyone is welcome to come, and lunch will be provided after the service.
