Valentina (Violet) Susie Ruskowsky
April 5,1930-October 6, 2022
Our sweet mom passed away Thursday night at a young 92. We will miss her smile, her joy for life, and her great big, song filled heart! We are so thankful that she no longer has to endure anymore suffering and is in the presence of Jesus! She leaves her family and friends with a faith filled legacy.
Romans 8:38-39
And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels or demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Violet is lovingly remembered by her children, Judith Ruskowsky, Carol (Micheal) Colbeck, Marilyn (Jim) Blair, William (Meriah), John (Heather), Fredrick (Louberta), together with her many dearly loved and cherished grandchildren and great grandchildren. Violet is survived by her brother Bill (Loretta) Gieck.
Our family would like to thank the staff at Wentworth Manor and Court in Calgary, and Yvonne Carlone for their TLC for mom.

Messages:
Sorry we could not attend todays service for Auntie Violet. We will certainly miss her quick wit, enlightening conversations and her laughter. A bight light is now at rest. We send our sincerest condolences to her family. She will be missed but the great memories we share will be with us forever. Hugs to everyone.
Thinking of and praying for you all as you miss your beautiful Mom and celebrate her life. It is so painful to say goodbye but like you, I'm so grateful Violet's sorrows and trials are over. She ran the race well and left a wonderful faith-filled legacy for her family, friends, and I suspect many "strangers" she met in passing. I was thinking about the impact she had on the young people she studied with when she went to Bible College. What a gift for them ( and for all of us who were fortunate enough to have known Violet) to have her there modeling Christ's love with her deep joy-filled faith while sharing years of experience and God-given wisdom! Your Mom was truly an authentic gem and I'm sure she impacted more souls than she or we ever knew! God Bless and comfort you all as you say goodbye to your dear mother! Love, Hugs, Prayers and Blessings! Debbie Crosby
