Mary Klassen

Mary passed away peacefully on April 8, 2021, surrounded by her family at the Peach Arch Hospital Foundation Lodge in Surrey.

Mary is survived by her children  Connie (Blair) Garry (Cheryl) Patti (Glenn); 8 Grand Children;  12 Great Grand Children and her sister Frieda.

Predeceased by her Husband John; Parents Peter and Justine; Sisters Justine and Lena; Brothers Peter, John and Art; Great granddaughter Libby.

Due to Covid 19 there will be no Service at this time.

We wish to thank all staff on the 3rd floor, Bella Vista unit of the Lodge for all the care and compassion they showed to mom over the past 6 months.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to: Peach Arch Hospital Foundation; or Alzheimer’s Association of B.C.

Wishing my cousins....Connie, Gary and Patti and their families my condolences in the loss of your Mom and my Auntie Mary. Your Mom had the most amazing genuine smile and was always ready for a good laugh. She will be missed.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the whole family. We enjoyed working with John & Mary as they volunteered their time at Fraser Valley Gleaners in Abbotsford. They were both faithful, hard working and a huge encouragement to all. A wonderful example to us all.

To Connie, Gary Patti and family-You had a amazing Mom & Dad. we will cherish all the times we spent with with them both. she will be missed. love Jim & Eileen

I have such fond and happy memories of Auntie Mary and Uncle Johnny and my double cousins. It is so final when both parents have gone. Thinking of you all with love and sympathy.

Mary was such an amazing people person. We had a ton of belly shaking laughs. We will miss her and Johnny.

To Mary's children, It was so nice meeting you all on the phone as well as in-person and on Facetime. Your mother was a very special woman with a great sense of humor we shared many laughs together. I am so sorry for your loss but so glad you were all able to come in and visit. I just wish it could have been sooner. All the best to you. Bridget

We are so lucky to have had the best Grandma. She was the warmest and kindest person who always made us laugh. She brought so much joy to all who knew her and we will always cherish the amazing memories we made with her. Thank you Grandma for always making us feel so special and so loved. You will always be remembered, always be missed and forever in our hearts. Love you so much, Lindsay, Tyler, Lincoln and Griffin
