Lilian Mary LaPointe
January 9th, 1924 ~ October 26th, 2021
Lilian LaPointe(nee Reed) at 97 years young from complications of COPD and dementia. She was predeceased by her husband Philip, brother Ron, daughter-in-law Marion. Survived by Gordon (Elaine), Gerald, Gary (Gayle), Andrew (Leanne), David, Jackie (Randy). Also survived by 11 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandsons.
Lilian was a war bride marrying her tall, dark, handsome Philip on July 21, 1942. They had a long and happy marriage of 52 years. A strong-willed English lady who never tired of telling stories of her childhood in Seaford.
Lilian was so very proud of her family and felt it self blessed to be surrounded by so much love. Sometimes names would escape her memory but there was never any doubt of her deep affection her ever increasing family. On her 97th birthday she said she felt that she and Philip had created a small army because there were so many well wishers visiting that day.
The family wishes to express its deep appreciation and thanks for the excellent care Mom received while living at Cedar Hill Long Term Care Facility in Langley the last three years of her life.
A private family graveside celebration will be held in the spring.
