Norman Prevost
February 16th, 1943 ~ August 18th, 2024
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Norman Prevost born February 16th, 1943, in Princeton BC. Norm passed away on August 18th, 2024, in Abbotsford BC at the age of eighty-one.
Norm was survived by his wife Leona, his two sons Richard and Gord, his two daughters Sheryl and Nancy, his brother Bob and sister Sharon and his two grandsons Devin and Tyler. He was predeceased by his father Rennie, his mother Hilda, his brother Danny his sisters Margaret and Lorraine.
Norm was raised in Surrey and Aldergrove BC where he met his wife, Leona. They were married on April 18th, 1964, and had four children together. Norm provided for his family by working at the Clayburn Brick Plant where he made many friends. He always took the time to spend with family and fiends and to keep I touch with everyone he knew. He was a proud papa of two grandsons which he devoted a lot of time to making memories with. He was a devoted son, and a great brother to two brothers and three sisters. Through his life he took many pictures of his children, family, and friends to document the wonderful memories made over the yeas. Through his life he enjoyed fishing, bowling, camping, and playing cards with friends. Norm enjoyed celebrating the holidays with his family and loved to decorate where they lived, bringing joy to those around him. Although he is no longer with us, he will be always with us in our hearts.
A graveside service will be held at Hazelwood Cemetery in Abbotsford at 11:00 am on September 13th, followed by a celebration of life at 12:30 pm at 33497 Bevan Avenue Abbotsford. There is some parking outside the hall, or you can park in the strip mall parking lot across the street.
