Maartje (Margie) Gemser (nee Terpstra) passed away peacefully in her sleep, December 7, 2022.
Born in Friesland, the Netherlands, on December 21, 1934, Margie would have been 88 in two weeks.
She is survived by her six children, Jessica (Walter), Anne (Dan), Christine (Eric), Alex (Linda), Eric, and Paul (Kim), as well as 11 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by 1 sister and 3 brothers, all in the Netherlands. Margie is predeceased by the love of her life, Peke (Pete) in 2021, as well as granddaughter Annalise, and grandson-in-law Chad.
Margie loved and served the Lord, her Savior.
The family would like to thank the dedicated staff and caregivers of Menno Hospital E1 for their excellent care of Mom.
