Joan Isobel Vogstad

It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Joan Vogstad, at age 90, on December 14, 2022. Now resting peacefully, she is survived by her husband, Allen and sons, Stewart and Jeff, daughters Lynne, Lea, Laurel and 16 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. Joan was predeceased by parents “Sally” McRae (Crawford/Witherspoon), Charlie Crawford and brother Nick.
Joan and Allen had 71 wonderful years together travelling, gardening, hiking and Joan’s many years at the Agassiz Museum and Historical Society. Joan was such an amazing woman with a very generous heart. She was a caring wife, mother, grandmother to us all! Joan was a very special lady who will be dearly missed by family and friends.
The family would like to extend sincere gratitude to the Mission Memorial Hospital Hospice for their invaluable support. In lieu of flowers, a donation in Joan’s name can be made to the Mission Memorial Hospital Hospice by cheque or online. Donations can be made to the Agassiz Museum & Historical Society.
