Anthony Joseph Butschler

Anthony Joseph Butschler (Tony) age 90, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 24, 2023. He is predeceased by his wife of 66 years, Camilla (Cam). He is survived by his 4 sons and their partners (Anthony Jr, Michael & Carol, Christopher & Marianne, Andrew & Deidre); 11 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; and many extended family and friends.
He was born in 1932 in Winnipeg, Manitoba and learned the importance of family and hard work at a young age. He joined the Royal Canadian Air Force and met Cam in White Horse, YT. They were married in 1955 and settled in Richmond, BC in 1959.
Tony was the rock and provider for a family with 4 boys. He was very involved in his sons’ activities and sports and was always there to support. He had great success in his business life which allowed the family many fabulous adventures and experiences.
He will be sadly missed but we take comfort knowing that he is at peace.
There will be a family celebration of Tony’s life at a later date.
