Eric Gillmeister

Early in the morning on March 28, 2019, at the age of 54, Eric passed away peacefully in his home after experiencing a sudden heart attack. Eric was predeceased by his father Eric Albert Gillmeister and his brother Bradley Hay. The beloved husband of Debbie Gillmeister (nee Frandi) of Abbotsford, BC, Eric will also be lovingly remembered by his his children Benjamin (Sonata) and their children Markus & Judah; Chris (Anna); Candace; Shalom (Sunny) and their children Anaya & Evangeline; Timothy. He will be dearly missed by his mother Norma Gorensek; sister Lisa St. John; stepfather Fred Gorensek; and extended family. The family takes comfort in knowing God called Eric home. His greatest desire was always to stand at our Heavenly Father’s side.
Everyone who knew Eric would agree he was one of a kind. He loved to open his home to anyone passing through. Eric enjoyed the finer things in life such as cooking and music. No matter the outcome, he always displayed his big and contagious smile. In his spare time Eric enjoyed cycling, walking trails, skiing in the local mountains, and anything involving water. Until we meet again.
