Rhona Anne Jamieson

On Wednesday, May 8th Rhona Anne Jamieson- loving sister, mother, wife, friend and grandma passed away at the age of 60 after her courageous battle with cancer.
Rhona was born in 1959 in Edinburgh, Scotland. On March 3rd, 1967, at the age of seven, she moved to Canada with mother, Anne Jamieson and Father, Ian Jamieson, as well as her sister Janice Moult and brother Russell Jamieson. She grew up in Richmond and raised her children in Langley.
Rhona will be remembered for her infectious smile, her unwavering strength and her kind-compassionate spirit. She loved playing and watching sports and will be remembered fondly for her competitive, fun-loving nature. She lived life to the fullest until her final days.
Rhona is survived by her husband, Derek White, who blessed her with endless love, laughter and adventures. Her three children, son Ryan (Angela) grandchildren Weston and Brynleigh, son Tyler (Taryn) grandchildren Sierra, Savannah and Kai, daughter Danica (Anthony) grandchildren Taliyah, Anniah, Trey, and Milah. Stepchildren Jordan, Rebekka, Rachel (Bob) grandchild Jackson; and Jenica (Danielle).
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday June 6th at 1 o’clock pm at South Langley Church, 20098 22 Ave, Langley.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Rhona’s name to the McKenney Creek Hospice Residence, Maple Ridge.

I new Rhona very well in high school and then into the 90’s, hanging out while all our kids were being born. I am very sad to hear of Rhona’s passing. My thoughts go out to Derek and the kids and to Janice and Russ.

Rhona always made my Dental visits special because we would always have a chat and a laugh! She had the most beautiful smile and always brightened the room she was in!
