Ann Frances Karchewski

Mom was born in 1933, in Jarvie Alberta.  She passed away suddenly, in hospital, with family at her side on December 6, 2019.  She is now in heaven with our dad Mike Karchewski, born in 1928, in Cudworth, Saskatchewan, who pre deceased her on December 5, 2018, in Surrey, BC. They were married for 66 years.

She will be remembered by her daughters, Lorri-Ann, Cecelia, Teresa and son-in-law Darren. Grandchildren, David (Teryl), Susan, Robert (Kate) and James.   Niece, Anne and her children Amanda, Matthew, Elizabeth, Benjamin and their families, plus many other friends and people she met.

Fran was an accountant most of her life.

Mom and dad enjoyed a wonderful life together. They had a vibrant social life and were active parishioners at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Marpole, BC and the Star of the Sea in Surrey, BC.

Mom had a successful career as an executive in the mining industry. Upon retirement, she loved spending time with family and friends.

She created wonderful projects in sewing, knitting, bead work, quilting, which she shared with others.

She loved to cook and bake and was also involved in a choir.

She traveled with Dad to England, Mexico, and Hawaii plus they took a few cruises too.

Mom will always be remembered as a woman of great integrity and a very kind, loving and generous soul.

Funeral mass was held on Thursday, December 19, 2019 at the Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Surrey, BC.
