John William Lancaster

John came from a large family, he was one of nine sons (Bob, Jim, Dave, Art, Rick, Ron, Burt and Forrest) born to Merle Emma Lyndsey and Forest Lloyd Lancaster. John was a son, a brother, a father, a nephew, an uncle, a grandpa and a friend!
John led a full life, rich in experiences, including his time working as a mill wright, rig hand, driller, heavy duty mechanic, vinyl siding installer and as a machinist. Through these experiences he amassed many great friendships.
John was incredibly proud of his two children Julia and Tom.
A celebration of John's life will take place on Tuesday, July 2nd at 3:00 PM at the Fernridge Hall in Langley BC -2369 200th Street. This will be followed by a BBQ at 5:30 PM at 25503 56 Ave Langley BC. All are welcome to join the family in remembering John's exceptional life.

I knew John many years ago when he and my cousin Gabriella were married, my mother was Gabriella's god-mother, both my parents Lotte and Erwin German and Austrian descent , knew John, they are both deceased now. I lived in Laval Montreal at that time, I was just a young lad at the time, but I remember Julia and Thomas visiting us when they were little 4 and 5 years old, remember John wearing his cowboy hat, they lived in Fort St. John BC He was working as a millwright very interesting job, my deepest condolences to your family at this sad time
