So sorry to hear about John. I was close with him in the 1980's, and we kept in fairly close touch since. But I was very surprised & sad that he'd passed. He had always seemed so healthy & happy. My heartfelt condolences to his daughters & their families. He & I had been in that terrible car accident on Victoria Day in May 1982. We had gone to Bellingham, Washington, for the day. On the return trip on King George Hwy at 18th Avenue, a drunk male driver made an abrupt unsignalled left-turn right in our path & was T-boned by my little Capri car (which was rendered a total write-off). We were hospitalized at Royal Columbian Hospital. You girls may recall this event in your Dad's life. He was a sweet dear person that I always loved. Blessings to his family.
