Mark Wilfrid Godin

It is with great sadness and the heaviest of hearts we announce the passing of Mark at home with wife Kathy at his side.
Mark worked many years as a Gas Technician with B.C. Gas and Terasen Gas before starting his own company “The Gas Guys” in 1998 with his helper, Dwayne Johnston; they retired the company in 2016.
Predeceased by his father Wilfrid (1992), son Shawn (2001), and daughter Kristy (2020). Survived by his wife of 47 years Kathy, daughter Leah (Paul) Chambers, granddaughter Lily Chambers, mother Audrey Godin, sister Lori (Mike) Pengilly, brothers Kit (Jude), Kerry (Terry) and many nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank the Palliative Care Team for their compassion and kindness. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Make-A-Wish or Muscular Dystrophy Canada.

I'm so sorry for your loss. My husband, Herb Klein, who sadly passed away on the same day had worked with Mark and also assisted us with several of our renovations. Praying for his wife and family during this difficult time.
I’m so sorry to hear of Mark's passing. He and I worked together at the gas company, I have many fond memories of our coffee meetings and conversations. My sincere condolences to his family.
I remember Mark well during my time with BC Gas and Terasen. Fond memories.. I pray Kathy and family find peace.
