Alfred ( Frenchy) Larochelle
November 26th, 2020
It is with a heavy heart that I announce the passing of our beloved Husband, Dad and Grandpa on November 26, 2020 at the age of 74 due to Covid 19 pneumonia. He suffered for many years with Alzheimer's and lost his ability to walk. FRENCHY worked for over 27 years for C.N.R. from the steel bridge gang to the B & B dept in Kamloops, Valemount and Surrey, BC. His last territory was from Vancouver to Jasper. He was an accomplished welder, plumber, building manager and jack of all trades. After his retirement he enjoyed his love of cars and working on them including the 38 Chevy pickup, 34 Mercedes 500K and his 86 Excalibur Phaeton convertible that he pulled a 21 foot Big Foot trailer with around the U.S. and Mexico. He loved attending car shows and garnered trophies in the many places we went from California, Florida, Maine, and Nova Scotia to name a few. He was an avid storyteller that kept a captive audience of all ages and left an impression on everyone we met.
He will be sadly missed by his loving wife, Hollea, son Joey, granddaughters Cheyanne and Cierra and daughter Marsha. Rest in Peace my love until we are together again.
When safe to do so we are taking a family road trip to spread his ashes in all the places he went from Vancouver to Jasper and in the mountains of Valemount where he was an alpine snowmobiler.
You are invited to leave a personal message of condolence for the family.
