It is with great sadness to announce the passing of Orlando Carmelito Bernal.
After fighting a 6 month battle with esophageal cancer, Orlando was 76 years old when he passed on the night of March 28, 2022 at 10:45 pm at Evergreen Baptist Care Home in White Rock, BC.
On the night he passed peacefully, he was surrounded by Filipina, his loving and devoted wife of 46 years and his three daughters Marjorie, Valerie and Stephanie. Orlando was blessed to have created memories with his six grandchildren. Four granddaughters: Kaelyn, Zoey, Jordyn, Gabby and also two grandsons: Nico and Christos. He will also be missed by his in-laws Jimmy, Nick, Clarence, the Maglian, Olan and Cotsaftis family. He will also be greatly missed by his many siblings and extended family members who live in different parts of the world but most of them mainly back home in the Philippines.
The family would like to thank all the staff at Evergreen who made the last three months of his life comfortable and welcoming during his residency there.
