Paige Mackenzie Chow

May 24th, 2012

Paige passed away at home, with her family at her side, on Thursday, May 24, 2012 after a year long journey with brain cancer. Her journey brought many blessings to our lives including many new friends.  She is survived by her parents Arnold and Glennys, her sister Brooke, brother Connor, grandparents Tim and Amy Chow, grandmother Roseann Schafer, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. She is predeceased by her grandfather Adam Schafer. Paige had a beautiful, gentle soul.  She cared more for others than herself. Her smile was contagious and could light up the room. Her smile will now light up the heavens.  The family extends a special thanks to Dr. Holmes, Dr. Pugh, Wendy, Dr. Buwembo, Edmonton Stollery Hospital, Alan Blair Cancer Clinic, the staff of the RGH and Melinda, Dawn, and Leona from Palliative Care Services for their care given to Paige. A Celebration of Paige’s Life will be held on Tuesday, May 29, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. in Lakeview United Church, 3200 McCallum Avenue Regina, SK with Reverend Dan Cooper officiating.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Ronald McDonald House Northern Alberta or the Brain Tumour Foundation of Canada.
