David Howard Green

April 11th, 2012

I was very saddened to hear of Dave's passing. I remember many a wonderful visit to your beautiful home in Buena Vista, and how welcome and at peace he always made me feel. My heart goes out to you. I know how special he was first hand, and certainly to all your family. My heartfelt condolences Joanne.

Hey Joanne and family, I was sad to hear today of David's passing. Both of you were always so sweet when we'd come to visit and were a great friend to my grandma before she passed! Thank you for being a encouragement in my life. I was coming for a surprise visit with the family next month to see you both, and I sorry to say it won't be both of you... :( I will miss him dearly...but I know he lived a great life and have the hope of seeing him again one day!! I'll be praying for you all and will have the girls here at the college praying also for you! Love, -Kassey Pearson

Dear Joanne & Family Our Heartfelt and Deepest Sympathy in David's passing. He was a strong but quiet man who had a twinkle in his eyes, especially at out Block Parties when the games were played. He will be missed. Our Thoughts and Prayers are with you. Bryan & Merilyn Gatschene

We are so sorry to hear of David's passing. We appreciate the friendship and caring that you both had for our Mother (Mary Kutcher), even though Mom isn't able to communicate when I told her of David's passing, she raised her brows and slightly shook her head I know that she understood what I had told her. David's beautiful picture of the church is hanging in Mom's room at Lutheran Home and I know that she knows it is there. Our condolences to the whole family. Shirley Dobrescu and Mike Kutcher

Joanne and family, what can anyone say to ease your pain? Knowing that your friends feel your pain with you. When you came to our son's service it made us feel good to know you cared. Please know we care deeply for you. I'll never forget all those chocolate bars and chips David stopped to buy after he picked me up to go to your house to baby sit and I even got paid! Such fun! Gail

Dear Joanne and family - I will remember David for his kindness, dedication to family and friends, strong work ethics, willingness to help others and share his knowledge and his love for animals and nature. I am a relatively new member of Brushworks so didn't know David very long. He was such a quiet man however these strong characterics were so evident through his artwork. We will surely miss him at our guild. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Dear Joanne and family, I was deeply saddened to learn of David’s passing. David & I met at the Friday morning art drop-ins at the Balkwill Centre, where I started going just three years ago. His good humour, helpful suggestions, stories, art, and smiling face will be missed. His is one of the voices I hear when I paint, and it always makes me smile. May his memory be a blessing.

Sandy, Courtney, Jasyn and Emily, Our deepest sympathies on the passing of your Father and Grandfather. Brenda and Willie Wolf

David's calm and peaceful nature was always welcome each week when he came to the Neil Balkwill Centre to spend time with his friends and share in his art. My prayers go out to his family and many friends that they find peace and comfort.

Dearest Auntie Joanne and family, Uncle David saw so much beauty in life. He took the beauty he held in his heart and put it to canvas to share all that was precious in life. My thoughts and prayers are with you today and always. Love Debbie
