Kelly DuMont

My thoughts and prayers are with the DuMont family. I had the honour of meeting Kelly in 2011. He was a class act you always had time to chat when I walked by his home.

Dear Stacy, Rita, and family... We are very saddened to hear of the passing of Kelly. Even though we had only a few opportunities to meet him, he seemed like a great and genuine person. Indeed from all the comments, it's very clear he was an amazing individual whose positive energy will continue to burn. May you find peace in remembering the impact he had on many individuals. Sheila and Edna and family.

Mr. Dumont you were an amazing man!! Your help and guidance has gotten me where I am today!! Thank you for everything you have ever done for me!! I will miss you deeply.. Rest in Peace Mr. Dumont!! We'll meet again one day!! I love you!!

Stacy and family, I am so sorry to hear about Kelly's passing. Kelly was in my 82 grad class at Balfour. I did not know him really well through school but knew Stacy years ago living in Rosemont. By all accounts he was a warm, kind hearted and giving person. My deepest sympathies to your family. It is heartbreaking to lose someone so loved and treasured. May your memories give give you strength in the coming days.

Mr. DuMont you were and inspiration too me. You were a teacher, a coach, and a mentor in my life. You took an angry kid and turned him into a person, an adult that was looked up too. I've now served 10 years in the Canadian Forces and for reasons I can not explain I feel you helped me make the right life decisions that made me the man I am today. I knew Kelly as an excellent coach, great organizer and an energetic, concerned administrator for the wrestling community. He had the support of his family and in turn he supported his family for whom he had great pride and joy. My family and I send our heart felt condolences to Stacy and the family. Kelly Dumont was a kind, thoughtful man who always remembered your name and was always there to offer a kind word or heartfelt encouragement. He was a wonderful person and coach and will be greatly missed by all who knew him and loved him. Our thoughts and sincere condolences to the family.

It is with such sadness that I write this. I know it has been a difficult time since the accident but I was always so impressed with Kelly's optimism during recovery. I enjoyed the conversations and his willingness to always do what was best for kids. It has been my pleasure to work with Kelly at Martin and at Balfour - my heartfelt sympathy to the family .. Kelly will be missed and fondly remembered!

I was shocked to hear of the passing of Kelly. We taught together at McLurg School, and I remember many great conversations with him. He was a kind caring individual. My sincere condolences to his family.

I want to pass along my sincere condolences to Kelly's family at this time. From everyone I talk to, and in my interactions with Kelly, he was a kind person, cared deeply about students and made a difference in the lives of those he taught and worked with.

I'm so sorry to hear of the passing of Mr Dumont. He was one of my favorite teachers at Martin. My heart goes out to his family, friends and loved ones

While I never had Coach DuMont as my personal coach, he accompanied me on wrestling trips when I was very new to the traveling experience. He treated me like one of his one athletes and made me feel very welcome. While I stopped traveling, he was always quick to stop and chat any time he'd see me at a tournament. RIP Coach, you will be missed.

Mr. Kelly D was my grade 7 teacher and an inspiration to us all. He will forever be a McLurg Mustang & forever in our hearts. May he RIP. Keep inspiring us to be better people in this world!

I miss you Mr. D.. your wisdom guided me though the deep waters of high school. I am myself because of your guidance and I love you.

I am so sorry to hear about Kelly's passing. His warm spirit and caring heart will always be something that I remember. I worked with Kelly at Balfour and we spent many lunchtimes eating together and chatting in the staff room. He was always so excited to share the amazing art his students would make in welding class and proudly showed me the impressive photos on his phone. He was always keen to learn new things and participated on our school tech committee. He was a very progressive teacher and attempted to use new technologies in his mechanics and welding classes. He was truly a wonderful man and will be dearly missed. My heart goes out to Kelly's family during this very difficult time.

Mr Dumont cared about the people that no one else did. He always inspired and encouraged his students to do their very best and that they could do anything they set their hair to. I also was friends with his sons Curtis and Kyle and his nephew Dave, My condolences go out to them as well, I cannot even begin to imagine the loss they feel. I can truly say I have become a better man because of Kelly Dumont. I didn't get to ever tell him that I am now doing better at life and that I have a kid and a great job i'm sure he would have been impressed to talk to me after all these years. May the lord welcome you into his kingdom and rest in peace friend.

Mr. Dumont's loss is felt everywhere. It is a statement of a persons life when people are drawn together in their death. We weave a web of connections that span our lives. Kelly's was more elaborate than most. What we leave behind is our memories in others. Thank you sir for making my life's web a little stronger and leaving me with your memory to pass on through my life's story. Rest in piece.

I just saw this on fb and am still in shock, I pray for his family may God get you all through this difficult time. Mr. Dumont was the best wrestling coach, the kindest man, he was a great person. A gentle soul that anyone could talk to, I will always remember him as the happy funny wrestling coach.

So sorry to hear about Mr. DuMont's passing. He was a great guy to be around one of the friendliest teachers I had ever met, one of the friendliest guys I had ever met, and he made my first year in high school a lot better because of that. Rest in peace Mr. DuMont. My sincere condolences go out to the DuMont family.

Kelly was one of the stalwart legacies in the Regina wrestling community. He was an inspiration as a coach, and I vividly remember the support and encouragement I received on multiple occasions from him. In particular, in 2000 I traveled to Saskatoon for Provincials and because I was one of the few student athletes from my highschool he took over my corner during my matches and for this I`ll be forever grateful. Rest in peace Kelly, my prayers are with your family.

Kelly aka Mr.Dumont was a great man, he will be missed and fully remembered by me and my family, for the guidance he gave me as a young man. we are sorry for your loss.

Mr.Dumont was the best teacher <3 I had him in all my semesters at Balfour hate to see this happen. But happy I got to meet such a nice guy with a huge heart RIP Mr. Dumont never forgotten.

I would like to offer my thoughts and prayers to all of the family. I had only met Kelly a few times and on every occasion, such a warm and friendly man...always sharing a laugh.

Kelly was a great teacher, coach and later a great friend. He made a difference in many people's lives and I am sure all positive. Even though we have the assured hope of the resurrection (Acts 24:15) to a restored Paradise (Isaiah 35:1,2) on earth (Psalm 37:10-11,29) where we will see our loved ones yet again we are still saddened as Jesus was regarding the death of his dear friend Lazarus. Even he gave way to tears (John 11:35) despite the fact he knew he would bring Lazarus back to life in a few short minutes (John 11:43-44). We look forward to seeing him again in the very near future.
