Cecelia Hager

Cecelia Hager, dearly beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away peacefully in the Pasqua Hospital on the morning of Thursday, December 5, 2013.  Cecelia was predeceased by her parents Alma and August Hager.  She is survived by her loving family: daughter Violet (Donald) Wirll and their children Cory (Nikki), Jay (Amanda), Dionne (Alexander), Dayna, and Deanna.  She is also survived by great grandchildren Haley, Mehki, Carissa, Dorothy, Ayva, and Jaylynne and her sisters Barbara and Sue.

Cecelia was born on April 22, 1924 at Chamberlain, SK.  She lived most of her life in Regina.  Cecelia loved spending time with family and was a creative artist.  She was a loving and generous woman and had a wonderful sense of humour.

Cecelia had many hobbies and interests.  She loved to scrapbook, paint, cook, drink coffee, sew, sing, play records, but above all she loved dolls.  From day one it was Violet and her mom; times were not always easy, but they always had one another and they always had a lot of love.  As time went on Grandma CeCe extended her love to her son-in-law, her grandchildren, and great grandchildren.  Heaven has gained a special angel; however, she will live in our hearts forever as a sister, mother, aunt, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend.

Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, December 10, 2013 at 10:30 am in Canadian Martyrs R.C. Church, 1932 – 1^st Avenue North, Regina, SK.
