Thomas Wesley Leavitt Hastings

Thomas Wesley Leavitt Hastings passed away peacefully with his family by his side on December 9, 2013 at the age of 70 years. Thomas was born to Clarence and Roseanne Hastings on October 9, 1943 in North Bay, Ontario. Thomas leaves behind his four children Kitty his main caregiver (Gerald) Stevenson of Moose Jaw, SK, Dennis (Michelle) Hastings of Winnipeg, MB, Michael (Gloria) Hastings of Winnipeg, MB, and Thomas (Shana) Hastings of Regina, SK; twelve grandchildren Vanessa Stevenson his main caregiver of Moose Jaw, SK, Jonathan (Amanda) of Moose Jaw, SK, Mathew, Brenda, Donna, Mariah, Kristian, Haylea, Shay-Lynn, Kourtney, Chance, and Shaylin; three great-grandchildren Nico, Nigel, and Sophia. Thomas will be missed dearly. He loved playing cards, watching movies, especially being around his family, but camping was his favorite thing to do in summer. His family was his world, but when his grandchildren came over it was laughing and joking all the time. Thomas always had a reply to everything. Thomas’s wishes were to be cremated and to have a family get together at a later date. Thank you all for being there for Thomas (Dad), he knew you were all there for him. Kitty & Family: Sending our thoughts and love at this difficult time. Will miss seeing your Dad walking down Coteau Street on my drive home, going to the store to buy himself some scratch tickets. He was an amazing man, always joking around and playing with my kids whenever he seen them. It was very clear how much you loved your Dad, Kitty. You have an angel watching over you now.
