On Wednesday, July 24, 2013, Caroline Herman (nee Klein), late of Lumsden and District Heritage Home, Lumsden, SK, passed away after a short battle with cancer at the age of 91 years .She was predeceased by her husband Frank; parents Frank and Elizabeth Klein; brother Jack and his wife Lillian, brother John, brother Frank, sister Florence and her husband Joe Hoffort, sister Madeleine and her husbands Tom Rabish and Philip Kaip, brother Kundus and his wife Barbara, sister Annie and her husband George Norman, sister Katherine and her husband Frank Kaip, sister Margaret and her husband Leo Schell, brother-in-law William Bell, sister Elizabeth and her husband Cecil Hanson, parents-in-law Frank and Emelie Herman, and brother and sister-in-law Frank and Caroline Floer. Caroline will be forever remembered and loved by her daughter Shirley; grandchildren Debbie (Scott) Campbell, Tammy and her partner Tyler Eberts; great grandchildren Jamie, Brendon, Rene, Cody, Tristen, Conner, and Nixon; great-great grandchild Marley; sister Theresa Bell; brother-in-law Don (Grace) Herman; sister-in-law Lucille Klein; as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends. Caroline was born in Bromhead, SK and later the family moved to a farm near Minton, SK. There she met her husband Frank and they had one child Shirley. They moved to Estevan in 1956 where she worked in the post office. In 1962 they moved to Regina where she worked at the General Hospital for 16 years as an Assistant Housekeeper. Later Frank and her managed apartment blocks. Caroline had many talents. She loved music and could play the accordian, banjo, guitar, piano, organ, and drums. She also loved to sew, knit, crochet, and do several crafts. Caroline was kind, compassionate, supportive, had a good sense of humour, friendly, and had a heart of gold. She especially loved her grandchildren, great grandchildren, and her great -great grandchild. Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, July 31, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. in Holy Trinity R.C. Church, 5020 Sherwood Drive, Regina, SK with Rev. Ronald Andree Celebrant. Interment in Riverside Memorial Park.
