Messages:

Today, September 26, 2014, I learned of Linda's obituary on the internet. Micky, Susan, Tim, Richard and Pete and your Mom are all in my thoughts today. As I child growing up in the neighborhood that raised all of us (we are were blessed to grow up in the village), I remember Linda to be very mature, clever, and leader all her young life. Viewing her photo she is easily recognized and the happiness in her heart shows through, very precious. It makes me happy to know Linda experienced a happy life with her husband Tom, Sons and grandchildren.

My heart and condolences go out to Tom and Linda's sons and family, and to Aunt Marie. Although it has been years since we spoke, I still recall the conversation ... Linda's pride and love for Tom, and her joy in being mother to Dan and Adam (Andrew was not yet born). I'm sure your grief is tempered by all the joyful memories you have of Linda. Even as a young woman Linda was kind, thoughtful, and had a wonderful ability to come up with solutions to any problem. I was and am so proud to be her cousin.

Our condolences to the Kurtz and Shoulak families. I met Linda and Tom at a meeting and the Pilot Butte connection was a wonderful surprise. She was a such a nice lady. May your memories of her bring you comfort.

Tom my friend there is no words I can think of to express the grief I feel for you. May the good Lord give you courage and time to cope at this difficult time. Ethel and I will pray for you.

It was a shock to see Linda's smiling face in the paper this morning as I had my morning coffee before heading off to work . I met Linda & Tom , when I worked at the Northgate Mall back in the early 70's, I worked with her Aunt Beryl at that time , they used to stop in a visit as they lived close by . I'll always remember Linda as it seemed she was always smiling , very happy all the time . Heaven has gained an angel . My thoughts and prayers go out to Tom and their sons and grandsons . Linda was many things to many people, but to me she will always be the sister and friend I loved. I will never forget her and will remember fondly all the wonderful times we had as children growing up in Pilot Butte, as adults raising our children and as grandmothers watching our grandkids grow into fine young people. Love you lots, Linda!

My aunt Linda was one of the most beautiful and kind people I know. She always was ready to help out no matter. She was loving to all and her faith really inspired me to. She was always hopeful and always moved forward no matter how great the challenge. I really enjoyed the last visit I got to have with her and I'm sad that I won't see her again. Although I strongly believe she is watching over us and was there for the birth of my son in spirit who was born on July 5 just two days after she passed. I loved her so much and will miss her. I will never forget the memories and send my love and condolence to my uncle Tom and my cousins Dan, Adam and Andrew and there families. In my heart forever Dani

Words cannot express the sorrow at the loss of my wonderful sister Linda. She was my partner in crime as children...she, always the teacher! Her smile would brighten anyone's day. Her spirit an inspiration to all that knew her. Her spirit lives on in all that knew her and she still has the ability to bring a smile to my face, with many fond memories. May she rest in peace, it was an honour to call her sister and friend.
