With sadness we say goodbye for now to Joan Marie McInnis who went into the arms of the Lord on Wednesday, January 30, 2013 at the age of 59 years.  Joan was predeceased by her mother Madeleine (nee Ouellette) and her father Ken McInnis.  She is survived by her aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends.  Memorial Mass will be held on Wednesday, February 6, 2013 at 1:00 pm. in Christ the King R.C. Church, 3239 Garnet St., Regina, SK with the Very Rev. Lorne Crozen Celebrant.   Interment will take place at a later date.   Flowers most gratefully declined.  Friends so wishing may make donations, in Joan’s memory, to a charity of your choice

I was saddened to hear of Joans passing. I spent many nights on the road with Joanie on our way to pick up distressed babies all over Saskatchewan. We had a few good laughs then but it was all professional when dealing with her precious patients. She had very deep feelings about those little ones. I will miss her. My sincere condolences to the remaining family. I will remember Joan for her "sparkling" wit, her very interesting and unique approach to life and for the hours and hours and hours spent in debate/discussion regarding everything and anything---after which there was never any hard feelings. She was so very good at agreeing to disagree. She was a sensitive, resilient and very intelligent woman. We are all the better for having had her in our life and she will be missed.
