Anne Wilson

January 18th, 2013

Anne Wilson passed away on Friday, January 18, 2013 at the age of 87 years with her family by her side.  Anne was born in Poland and immigrated to Canada at the age of five.  She attended Innismore, Haultain and Balfour Tech Schools and then worked for Saskatchewan Power Corporation for many years.  Anne was a member of Beta Sigma Phi for over 25 years and valued her friendships with her sorority sisters.  Anne appreciated art and had a natural creative talent for drawing and painting.  She also completed many needlepoint and ceramic pieces.  Anne was predeceased by her parents Philip and Stella Yarmowich, a bother in infancy, and husband Jim Wilson.  She is survived by her daughter Karyn Scalise (Arnie Tiefenbach) and stepsons Don and Curtis Wilson.  Karyn would like to thank the staff at Parkside Extendicare for their caring support and members of Wesley United Church for their visits to Anne over the years.  A Memorial Service will be held Thursday, January 24, 2013 at 1:00 pm in Wesley United Church, 3913 Hillsdale St., Regina, SK with Kim Antosh officiating.  Flowers most gratefully declined.  Friends so wishing may make donations, in Anne’s memory, to the Trigeminal Neuralgia Association of Canada - see www.tnac.org or Wesley United Church.
