Phyllis Rita Blackwell, late of Regina, SK passed away on Thursday, September 4, 2014 with her family by her side at the age of 70 years. Phyllis is predeceased by her father Russell, mother Nieda, sister Elaine, and sister-in-law Eunice. She is survived by her loving husband Donald of 53 years; children Cheryl (Miles), Bonnie (Peter), Sandra, and Jamie; grandchildren Christina, Ryan, Amanda, Melissa, Peter, Samantha, and Shelby; seven great-grandchildren; brothers Joey (Julie) Armstrong and Doyle Armstrong; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. Phyllis was a kind, caring person always putting others before herself. She loved travelling to Arizona and playing at the casino. She loved country music and her cat Tina. Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, September 10, 2014 at 11:00 am in St. James United Church, 4506 Sherwood Drive, Regina, SK. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Phyllis may be made to The Lung Association of Sask., 106 – 438 Victoria Avenue East, Regina, SK S4N 0N7.
