James Phillip Fister, late of Regina, SK passed away on Saturday, April 18, 2015 at the age of 71 years. He was predeceased by his parents Jesse and Esther; sister Eunice King; brother Harold “Bud” (Dorothy); brother-in-law Tom Winter. James is survived by his children Candus Torkelson and Jerry (Danika) Fister; grandchildren Jesse (Tiffany), Cody (Melisa), Kyle, Colt, Justin, and Jenna; great-grandchildren Jax, Blaze, and Taylor; siblings Joyce (Clem) Goyer, Arleane Winter; brother-in-law Bud King; as well as numerous nieces, nephew, extended family, and friends. At James’ request there will be no service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.

Jim was one of my very best friends and I will sincerely miss him. We had coffee every morning and came to all the dances my band played at. He always would give the shirt off his back to help people. He had many friends who will all miss him. Rod
