It is with deep, deep sorrow that we announce the tragic passing of Kirk on Saturday, June 20, 2015 at the age of 47 years. Kirk was predeceased by his dad Gary; grandparents, numerous cousins, aunts and uncles. Kirk was born on May 27, 1968 in Regina, SK. Kirk is survived by his loving wife and best friend Tracey; the apple of his eye, daughter Chantelle (Lenny Olson); mother Joan; brother Kent; sister Carla and her boys Taylor, Callan, and Blake all of Regina; sister Penny and her children Hannah, Matt, and Josh of Calgary; grandmother Loretta Mengel of Regina; mother-in-law and father-in-law Noemie and John Grodecki; brother-in-law Terry (Sherry) Grodecki; nieces Candace and her children Braedon and Chloe; Nicole (Anthony) all of Red Deer; brother-in-law Todd Grodecki (Holly Schram) of Spruce Grove; special uncle and aunt Gerald and Gloria Mengel; 'brother' Ryan (Tracey) and their children Peyton, Keira, and Logan; cousin Deanne (Craig) Robertson and their boys Cale and Lane; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Kirk was a man who lived and loved life to the fullest and with no regret. He was an active man, whose passions were fishing, helping on the farm, and the great outdoors. Kirk was always there to lend a helping hand and keep you fed and watered. Kirk worked for Degelman Industries from the age of 18. Hardworking and dedicated, he proved time and again his willingness to go the extra mile for his dealers and customers. He wore and will continue to wear the Degelman brand with pride. His family, friends, and numerous acquaintances will remember him as a truly genuine, generous, hard working, fun loving guy. He will be deeply missed. A Celebration of Kirk's Life will be held on Saturday, July 11, 2015 at 1:00 pm at his pride and joy, his new home just outside of Holdfast, SK. Casual dress. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Kirk’s memory to STARS, 2640 Airport Rd, Regina, SK S4W 1A3.

Shocked & saddened to hear of Kirk's untimely passing. While I have never met Kirk's family I have had a working relationship with him for a number of years & I felt I needed to pass on my condolences to you. Words are just words, they cannot stop the pain but they can let you know other people (near & far) have been touched & influenced by Kirk and that we are thinking of you at this time. Kirk had gained my trust & respect - I feel you can be proud of his legacy.
Very sorry to hear this news. I've spent the last 15 years at a lot of the same farm shows that Kirk worked at and as a fellow road warrior, I have many good memories of him. Always had a great story to share and lots of laughs. He will be missed by many of us that knew him in this capacity and I'd like to send my most sincere condolences to his family. God Bless.

Tracey although we've never met I wanted to send you my condolences on the loss of Kirk. Like Kirk I've been in the Ag Equipment business for many years and through that connection have talked to Kirk many times at the shows, etc. He was always a happy face to run into and share some stories with. He was just telling me at the farm show in Regina how much he loved living in your new house in the country. I will always remember him as one of the good guys that's for sure!
