Pauline Genevieve Sigmeth

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Pauline Genevieve (Bast) Sigmeth, late of Bethune, SK with her family at her side on her 92nd birthday, August 19, 2015.  Polly was the second child of Frank and Katherine Bast of Dilke, SK.  She attended Dilke School and married George Sigmeth of Bethune.  Polly is predeceased by her husband Geordie; infant son Richard; granddaughter Darla McEachern; sisters Mary Vogt and Lorraine Bast; parents Frank and Katherine Bast; and numerous brothers and sisters-in-law.  Polly will be lovingly remembered by her family, daughters Dolores (George) Riche, Patricia (Harold) McNally, Reta (Larry Shatkowski); sons Steven (Bonnie) Sigmeth and Randy (Denise) Sigmeth; grandchildren Lyle (Tracey) Riche, Todd (Michelle) Riche, Ashton (Michelle) Riche, Faron McNally, Glenn McEachern, Monica (Dean) Schwartz, Toni (Jeff) Duckworth, Bradley (Tara) Sigmeth, Jerrod (Michelle) Sigmeth, Kelly (Kristin) Sigmeth, Dawn Sigmeth (Patrick), Jackie (Derek) Flamme, Lindsay (Brandon) Perez, Randy Jr. (Megan) Sigmeth, and Taylor (Katie) Sigmeth;  great-grandchildren Shayla (Nolan) Riche, Keanne Riche, Dayne, Jaice, Cruz, and Emma Riche, Brant (Sarah), Cabri (Steve), and Keatin McEachern, Rhyan, Olivia, Blake Sigmeth, Robert Sigmeth, Kara and Kelsey Schwartz, Drew Duckworth, Cale and Maelie Flamme, Hayden Perez, and Georgia Sigmeth;  Also left to cherish her memory are her sisters Josephine Ziegler, Rose Church, Bernie Selinger, Theresa Lipp, Christina (Andrew) Ziegler, and Catherine Hensrud; brothers Alfred Bast, Frank (Dorothy) Bast, Richard (Marge) Bast, Fred (Sheryl) Bast, Joe (Karen) Bast, Tony (Kathy) Bast; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.  Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, August 25, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. in the Bethune Community Hall, Bethune, SK.  Interment in Bethune Cemetery.   Flowers most gratefully declined.  Friends so wishing may make donations, in Pauline’s memory, to the Bethune Cemetery Fund or the Regina Wascana Grace Hospice.
