After losing her battle with cancer, Joan passed away on Thursday, July 23, 2015 in the presence of her family. She was predeceased by her parents John and Lena Tashulak; brothers Dave (Betty) Tashulak of Cave Junction, Oregon, U.S.A., Archie (Sylvia) Tashulak of Calgary, AB; sisters Rose Klingenberg of Burlington, ON, Bobbins Hutchison of Regina. Joan is survived by her loving husband of 55 years Ray Smith; son Brian; daughter Donna; grandsons Kade and Kody, all of Regina; brother Gord (Brenda) Tashulak of Regina; sisters Millie Moore of Bragg Creek, AB, Anna Knight of Assiniboia,SK, Francis Tashulak and Lillian Jasper of Regina; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and many good friends. The family wishes to thank the nurses and staff of the Regina Wascana Grace Hospice for their care given to Joan and Alternatives Funeral & Cremation Services and Regina Memorial Gardens. Upon Joan’s request, a private ceremony was held with interment in the St. Anthony’s Mausoleum in Regina Memorial Gardens.
Uncle Raymond, Donna & Brian - I am so sorry to hear about Auntie Joan's passing. Although we haven't seen each other for a while, I remember the fun times we had as children when our families got together. My deepest condolences to your family.
