Bill Bobyck passed away with his family by his side on Wednesday, May 11, 2016 at the age of 86 years after a courageous battle with cancer. He is predeceased by his wife Lorna; parents George and Mary; sisters Lena (Bill) Zazulak, Anne (Arvel) Chornaboy, Kay (Bill) Lipowy, Mary (Manere) Asseff, and Josephine (Don) Crook; brother-in-law Michael Heintz. Bill is survived by his son Darren Bobyck; grandchildren Madison and Tanner; daughter Rhonda Bobyck; brother Mike ( Marlene) Bobyck; sister Vicky Heintz; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. Very special thanks to the wonderful team of nurses and doctors of 3A – Palliative Care Unit at the Pasqua Hospital. Celebration of Bill’s Life will be held on Friday, May 20, 2016 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. with a short program at 1:30 p.m. at the Telephone Pioneers Activity Centre (TPAK), 2106 – 1

Bobber & Rhonda, Sorry to hear about your dad's passing. I can see his smile & hear his laugh when I think of him. I will always remember our famous wrestling match in your back yard against your Dad & Uncle Mike. I'm sorry I can't make the service as I'm in Whistler, BC for my twins graduation. Love you both.
