John Koronkiewicz
September 14th, 1935 ~ March 8th, 2016
After a battle with Cancer, John passed away peacefully surrounded by family and the wonderful Kilbach Family Friends.
He was predeceased by his parents George (1957) and Annie (2000); brother Leonard (1977) and sister Lorraine (2012); brothers-in-law Art Bertsch (2004) and Minard Eberle (2008).
John is survived by his loving wife Janet; five sons and their families: Clinton; George (Carol) and their children Landen (Gerda), Jordan (Morgan), Tristian (Tayler); John Jr.; Ross; Scott (Melody) and their children Karly, Mikayla (Kendall); sister Sabina; sisters-in-law Joan, Dolores (Clarence),Darlene (Dave), and Helen ; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
John was born in 1935 on the family farm (Sedley and Francis District). He attended Ferguslea Country School. He met his beloved wife Janet in 1962 and they married in 1963. John enjoyed farming, raising cattle, socializing, and playing cards. Most important to him was his family and his cherished grandchildren.
Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, March 12, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. in Our Lady of Grace R.C. Church, Sedley, Sk. with Rev. Louis Abello Celebrant. Interment in Sedley Cemetery. Many Thanks to Dr. Lyster and the staff of MSU2C and 4A at the Regina Pasqua Hospital for their compassionate care.
