Yvonne Nashed

June 8th, 2016

Yvonne Nashed was a loved grandmother, mother, and friend to all.  She passed away peacefully on June 8, 2016 in the Pasqua Hospital, Regina, SK surrounded by her family.

She served the church faithfully by providing alter implements, books, and anything else the church required.  She gave constantly to those around her whether it was through her beautiful knitting, baking, and kind words.  She was a grandmother and mother to everyone around her.

She will be remembered by her good works and love for the church and others.  We are all so lucky and blessed to have had her in our lives.  We’ll all love and miss her forever.

Liturgy will be held on Friday, June 10, 2016 from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. in Saint Mark and Saint George Coptic Orthodox Church, 1932 -1st Avenue North, Regina, SK with Father Johannes Shalaby officiating.  Funeral Service will immediately follow from 11:00 a.m.  to 12:00 p.m.  Interment in Regina Memorial Gardens.

Flowers most gratefully declined.  Friends so wishing may make a donation, in Yvonne’s memory, to Saint Mark and Saint George Coptic Orthodox Church.

Messages:

My condolence to the family.

We knew Yvonne for more than 25 years. She was a dedicated mother and grandmother. She was a loving, caring person. She loved her grandchildren, she raised them, taught them the Egyptian language, the bible, hymns. She loved having company. She will be extremely missed by everyone how knew her. She was an angel. Rest in peace Yvonne.

We lost one of the greatest heart, I have ever met in my life. May I did not able to told her live how much I respect and love but it might be the time to pronounce.

She was such a great mother to each and everyone. I personally am so blessed I got to know her and spend the last 10 years with her. May her soul rest in peace, she is now in heaven surrounded by angels and saints praising the Lord. Pray for us dear grandma Yvonne. You will always be in our hearts. May the Lord give your beautiful family comfort and peace.
