Kenton Lee Runtz-Battiste

April 22nd, 2016

Kenton passed away April 22, 2016 as the result of an allergic reaction. Kenton was born September 26, 1993 in Regina to Charlene RUNTZ and Leroy BATTISTE. He attended Coronation Park and Elsie Mironuck Elementary Schools and graduated from Thom Collegiate in 2011. At the time of his death Kenton was employed at Casino Regina. Kenton had a heart bigger than all of the outdoors, a smile that lit up the room and a fierce love for his family and friends. If you knew Kenton, you loved him and he loved you back unconditionally. Kenton's passions in life were music and the arts. He loved to play the saxophone, steel drums and had the voice of an angel. Kenton's greatest source of pride was his youngest brother Tyler, who he bragged about to anyone who would listen.  Kenton is survived by his mother Charlene RUNTZ, love of his life and soul mate Shannon BROWN, big little brother Tyler RUNTZ-BATTISTE, beloved uncle Mike RUNTZ, father Leroy BATTISTE, and siblings Janet, Glenroy (Bezait), Leon, Kirk (Nishma), Donelda, Delroy, Kenroy, Mackenzie and Jeremy, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Kenton's Life will be held on Thursday, April 28, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at the Turvey Center, 100 Armour Road, Regina, SK

Words cannot express the sadness of Kenton's passing. A life lived for too short of a time. Kenton was a great Man and you, Charlene, raised an exceptional human being. Our hearts will always remember Kenton and our thoughts are with you and Tyler. We love you both very much now and always.

Charlene, my heart goes out to you and my thoughts are with you.

My deepest sympathy to Kenton's family. From the moment Kenton starting working at the Casino, I was always impressed and inspired by his kindness, attitude, sincerity and overall approach to life. He touched the lives of everyone he met and his smile lit up the room. He'll truly be missed by us all. God Bless!

So shocked and saddened to see the news about Kenton. I will always remember his smile, and laugh during the time I knew him and your wonderful family. Sincere condolences. Ms.Powers

I taught Kenton at Thom Collegiate and his smile would light up any hallway and classroom. He will be missed. Sending heartfelt condolences to the family, friends and the Thom community during this difficult time.

Only met you once man but you made an impression. You managed to captured my niece's heart and that made you family. I am missing getting to know you.

Sending all of our love and thoughts to you momma bear and Ty. I can't imagine anything more difficult. Know that we are here for anything you and Ty need. In every picture of Kenton you can see the happiness he exeburated every day in this world. Much love you two.

I am not sure I can find the words to describe this tremendous loss. I think of Kenton and David hanging out in school, and just being boys, and cannot fathom what you must feel. He was a great kid, all around. Ask anyone who knew him. Our prayers and thoughts are with you at this time.

Charlene & Tyler It is so difficult to find the right words to ease your pain..............I guess there are no right words, we will continue to pray for the two of you, God will give you strength and know that some day the pain will ease because your memories with Kenton will live on forever. God bless you both.

I feel your pain. There are no words. Take care.

Charlene and Tyler. Words cannot express how deeply saddened we were to hear of Kenton's sudden passing. We are sending our love and prayers to you during this very sad and difficult time. Bill, Jan and Will
