Boris Letwinka (Mr. Big), born in Stenen, SK on July 31, 1937 passed away on May 31, 2017 at the age of 79 years. He was predeceased by his parents Alexander and Caroline Letwinka; stepmother Wasylena Kurkowsky; stepfather Theodor Senkiw; brothers Michael, Mike, Paul and Peter; sisters Mary, Vicki, and Helen ; his infant son Robert.Boris is lovingly remembered by his partner Nancy Reid; son Rick (Hayley Lawford); daughter Angie (Geof) Schlamp; five grandchildren Kelly (Abby), Karlee (Braeden), Sunny, Coco, and Sweedah; Along with Nancy’s daughters Kathy (Tim) Shirkey and Jody Coles and grandchildren Ella, Harrison, and Georgia.He is also survived by his brother Al (Arlene); sisters Anne and Gloria; sister-in-law Mary; and numerous nieces, nephews, and many friends. A Celebration of Boris’ Life will be held on Monday, June 5, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. in The Fraternal Order of Eagles Hall, 1600 Halifax St., Regina, SK. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the Saskatchewan Lung Association.
