Messages:

Dear Elaine and family. I came to know Bev at Bushwaakers and developed an admiration for him. He was a warm, friendly and interesting man whom I know will be greatly missed by his family, friends and colleagues. I am proud to have been invited by him to join him and other friends on several fishing expeditions into northern Saskatchewan, which I greatly enjoyed, as well as to have visited Elaine and Bev at their beautiful home in Mesa. He was a great barbecuer and both of you were wonderful hosts. I will miss his company and conversation. I regret I was unable to attend his memorial as Sara and I were out of the country when he passed. All the best wishes in this sad time.

Elaine, Scott, Kelly and families, and Bushwakker staff:- Deepest condolences on Bev's passing. Bev and the Bushwakker family hosted and enjoyed many tasting events, holiday feasts and special music concerts. They will always be a part of me. Cliff Brown and family, Chiang Mai, Thailand

Dear Elaine and family: I was so sorry to see the news about Bev. My memories of him from the university are of someone with an enormous amount of energy who used that energy in a wide range of activities. So many of those activities benefited the university and the wider community. His interests were certainly broader than most faculty members but did not detract from his duties to the university and his discipline of physics. He and I came to the university about the same time and spent endless numbers of hours at lunchtimes discussing the changes being made - or which ought to be made. His successes outside the university were a tribute to his drive.

Elaine Kelly Mike and Family, Our thoughts are with you at this time as I reflect on my time at Bushwakker Bev treated me very well. Sincerley Alex Beitz and Alvina Mc Intosh

I am sadden to learn of Bev's passing and will always remember and cherish his insights, friendship and the fun times at Bushwakker. I extend my condolences to Elaine and the family, also to the staff of Bushwakker. I wish you all peace.

Our sincere condolences to Elaine, Kelly, Scott, Mike, Eriko, and family. I am so sorry to lose a great friend and mentor. His advice and guidance have always been appreciated.

I first met Bev in 1979 at the U of R. where I worked as support staff. He taught myself and many others the sport of cross country skiing. He later organized fishing trips to northern SK and Manitoba which I and many others attended every year until 2016. He lobbied the government to allow brew pubs to be legal in SK. He and his family started the successful business they had envisioned. He and his family made substantial donations to the U of R. Annette and I attended many fine BBQ's in Mesa where Bev would spend the entire day preparing the meat and the smoker to enable professional quality. We will miss him always.

Very sorry to hear of Bev's passing and for your loss. Sincere condolences Elaine and Family from myself and my family.

I used to handle Physics & Chemistry, among other subjects, for the University Library. Very sorry to hear Bev is gone. Many years ago, before he started Bushwackers and just did home brewing, I'd take my rotor tiller over to his place and till his garden area so he could grow hops. In return for a case of homebrews. Also used one of his radon test meters before i built my house out at St Joseph's in 1988, to test for that gas.

Sincere condolences to you, Elaine and all the family. Bev will certainly be missed by all at Bushwakkers.

We feel so very sorry to learn of Bev's death. We go back many years at the U of R and then remember the good times in Mesa, Az. We will think of you, Elaine, and all the family at this sad time. Sincerely, Shirlean and Jim
