Gail Patricia Sephton

March 17th, 1944 ~ March 16th, 2017

On Thursday, March 16, 2017, Gail Patricia Sephton of Regina, SK passed away peacefully with her family by her side. Gail is predeceased by her infant son Gerald, and loving husband George of 46 years, her infant sister Donna, brother Allen Shattuck, sister Irene Proctor and father DeWitt Shattuck.

She is survived by her daughter Michelle (Barry) Bruce of Emerald Park, SK, their children Rebecca (Brad) Aspinall of Weyburn, SK and their son Elijah, Justin (Tara Lucyk) of Regina and their daughter Olivia, Kathleen (fiancé Zac Ens), Jason of Emerald Park, SK; her son Jamie (Lisa) Sephton, their children Dallian (fiancé Laura Wischnewski) of Winnipeg, MB and Ricky of Calgary, AB; and her daughter Pam (Dean) Lefebvre, their children Chantelle and Michael of Regina, SK. Also left to cherish the memory of Gail is her centenarian mother Frances Shattuck of Oxbow, SK; and her sister DeAnne (Ron) Needham of Oxbow, SK and their family; her brothers and sisters-in-law and their families.

Gail was born in Kincaid, SK. But it was while living in Oxbow that she met and married George of Glentworth, SK. Together they enjoyed 46 years of marriage until George’s passing in 2009. Gail enjoyed many hobbies such as knitting, drumming, painting and travelling.  She especially loved her family and had a meaningful relationship with her nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and many, many cousins. Gail was best known for her cheerful disposition. She always had a smile on her face. Through many challenges in her life, she relied on her faith in God and the love and support of her family and friends.

Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, March 22, 2017 at 1:00 P.M. in Glencairn Alliance Church, 139 Cannon Street, Regina, SK with Rev. Barry Bruce officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.

Dear Pam, Dean and Family, I am so sorry to hear of the passing of your sweet Mom and Grandmother. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

The many years Gail and I were in Christian Women together were great. Her cheerful and positive personality were great to be around and we had enjoyable times together. My Deepest Sympathy to Michelle,Pam, Jamie and family. May your wonderful memories of your mother be a comfort to you during this sad time.

Although it has been twelve years since I crossed paths with Gail when our late husbands shared a room together at the Wascana Rehabilitation Centre, I will never forget what a kind, loving, uplifting women she was and a truly devoted wife. With my deepest sympathy to all the family.

We have lost an angel here on earth. One of the brightest lights in the darkest night. The sadness of this great loss is eased only by the knowledge that Heaven has gained an angel. My deepest condolences to Frances, DeAnne, Michelle, Jamie and Pam and the extended families. Auntie Gail was an inspiration to me in so many ways, a role model for kindness, perseverance and love. Our memories of Auntie Gail and all of her fine qualities will live on in all of us! May God bless you and keep you safe.

We were so saddened to hear of Gail's passing. However, I take comfort in knowing she is with our Lord Jesus & her loving husband George in Heaven. Gail you will be missed by many. Thank You for all the Love and Kindness you have shown. You were certainly a rare exceptional human being. I've always enjoyed being in your presence. I Love You my secondary mother in law. I was saddened to hear of the loss of your dear Gail. I did not know her well but when she came to the Villa to visit her mom, she was like a ray of sunshine. Please accept my condolences as you mourn the loss of your beloved Gail.

We are deeply saddened and shocked by the sudden passing of Aunt Gail. Our heartfelt condolences go out to Michelle, Jamie, Pam, and the extended Sephton family. I know she was a huge inspiration to my Mom, as well as the rest of us. Her positive outlook and love for life were unmatched. She will be missed.

I was blessed to meet Gail through Naidene T and I must say I have NEVER met a more positive, uplifting person. She found the positive in everything and the song in her voice reflected her song about life. Thinking of all during the loss of a true gift to all.

We are deeply saddened by the sudden passing of our dear cousin Gail. We will very much miss Gail's bright smile, infectious laugh and sunny disposition. Marge and I are so thankful we were able to spend time with Gail this past February in DHS. To Michelle/Barry and family, Jamie/Lisa and family, Pam/Dean and family, Auntie Fran, and Deanne/Ron and family our most sincere and deepest sympathy.
